Daily Paint Works challenge
Every month Daily Paint Works posts a challenge for everyone to paint. Last month's challenge was to paint Sunflowers, sort of a welcoming of spring and summer for some of us. We could paint the photo provided or select our own. The challenge was to try to push the envelope and leave our comfort zones. I found a free sunflower photo to paint on Pixabay. Below are my paintings, each took 10 minutes.
Always fun to challenge myself. Thanks DPW!

This is the photo from Pixabay. Thank you to whoever posted it to share.

My first painting is watercolor 14"h x 11"w. I just painted the scene as I saw it.

My second attempt was to get a little looser, pencil marks are stronger. Watercolor 14"h x 11"w.

My third effort was done entirely with my NON dominant hand (right). Sure pushed me out of my comfort zone.
