Escapades,Thoughts and Paintings by Jinnie May

Great news from the International Society of Acrylic Painters. With this entry I am granted Signature Membership in ISAP.

Just Pretend You Understand Acrylic on canvas 30"x30". Thank you John Salminen (Selection /Awards Judge) and ISAP.

Jinnie May:
Congratulations!
Your piece, mentioned above, has been selected for inclusion in the 2nd Annual International Society of Acrylic Painters All-Member Online Exhibition. This work, along with all of the other selected pieces, will be displayed on the www.isap-online.com website shortly. If you are an award winner, you will receive a separate email notifying you of your award. There were many works submitted to the call and the juror had a difficult time selecting the works chosen for the exhibition. As with all exhibitions, the juror works hard to select pieces which, together, form a strong, cohesive exhibition.
I hope you will consider entering more of our upcoming exhibitions with the goal of becoming a signature member and, eventually, a signature Master!
Good luck with all your future painting endeavors.
Regards,
Dan Simoneau, ISAP Master
ISAP President and Exhibition Chair

After a two-year hiatus the Tewksbury, NJ art show and sale is back!. It opened on Friday night September 29th with a very elegant artist reception and awards presentation . There was a great turn-out and the food and beverages suburb! I entered three abstracts in the juried portion of the show and came home with a First Place and Honorable Mention awards in that category. Very exciting! Show closes October 7th so still time to see well over 300 pieces of art work, small works and portfolio pieces.

First Place  And So It Goes, 30x30 acrylic on canvas

Honorable Mention Visions of Sugar Plums 30x30 acrylic on canvas
